Description of the illustration

Four people are pictured protesting in the street, holding up signs and a megaphone. Raising awareness about an issue by making noise and pushing the conversation into the public’s eye is a necessary component of systemic change. Protests bring together people from all walks of life and help people rally around a shared value, such as menstrual equity. We cannot take for granted that just because we are aware of and are passionate about an issue, everybody has had the chance to be equally aware.
