Description of the illustration

An instructor holds up a pad during a lesson in front of a small classroom of students of multiple genders, while one student raises their hand. We know that most people do not receive adequate menstrual health education and that those who do not menstruate are often left out altogether, furthering a culture of shame, secrecy, and stigma. Education at an early age, before menstrual stigma, has a chance to take hold, is critical to advancing menstrual equity.
